GalacticGirl here, back with another awesome post for you!
In this post, I wanted to tell you about my holidays!! As you may or may not know, we recently had our 'end of term 1' 2 week school holidays. This year, I managed to CRAM these holidays FULL of things!
In the first week, I spent a few days relaxing (and doing music practice), and then the next 2 or so I tidied my room (man, it needed it... to mention that... it needs tiding again :O).
On the Wednesday, I packed LOTS of bags! Following that, on Thursday, I went to my friends house. We rented insurgent (from the Divergent trilogy - AMAZING!!!) and watched that on her TV! Friday morning we looked up some sales, and went shopping! We met up with another friend there and had an awesome day :P.
The NEXT day, we got up SUPER early (5:30am) and went on a driving trip :p
We drove down to Melbourne, and got there that evening. Sunday was a shopping day! We shopped in Melbourne Central Plaza etc. That night we went to the MATILDA musical! The musical was derived from 'Matilda', one of my personal favourite childhood books. The story is by Roald Dahl, and the way the actors portrayed it was amazing!

As you can see, there are floating, glowing signs spelling out M A T I L D A. The walls are covered in wooden blocks, some with letters, some with numbers and others with symbols.
The. Show. Was. Amazing!
The principal of Matilda's school - Ms Trunchbull - was actually played BY. A. MAN!
He did it really well, and his bun was so slick and tight looking I was actually wondering if it was his actual hair!
Later, we packed up our stuff in the hotel, and had hot choccies/coffees, and turned in for the night.
The next morning, we finalised the packing, had our *BUFFET* breakfast and were driving out by 9.
We spent the next 2 days driving back along the Great Ocean Road. I took MANY photos, and here are a few of my favourites:
This was pretty much a timeline along the journey, and there were some amazing views along the way.
Once we got home on the Tuesday, I was freaking out because I was late to my friends house, and I still needed to pack for that!
I hurriedly packed, went to her house, and had a great time with all 6 other of my besties!
On the very last day of the holidays (this monday) I went shopping with SuperNova! We spent the whole day from about 9:45 till 3:15 just browsing the shops and trying things on and eating.
Lunch was HAPPY MEALS from MACCAS! I was so excited, they were LITERALLY my childhood (on the occasion that I actually went to McDonalds :P [we went about once every 2 years])
Now I'm back to school, and on Friday (its thursday now) our schools Big Band 1 are heading down to Mount Gambier to compete in the Generations In Jazz. We get back on Sunday night.
