Heyyyyyy GUYS!!!!

I am so excited! Along with telling you all the boring 'deets' about school and swimming carnival trials *wink*wink* I am going to do a special, LONG issue (is that what I can call it??? Anyways, a LONG BLOG) on HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS ;)) Because I am SURE you all need help with that area ;)

HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS BY GALACTICGIRL005:

STEP 1:
Go up to someone random, and say HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Maybe with a little less enthusiasm hmm..

STEP 2:
Wait awkwardly for them to say hi, and if they start walking away, FOLLOW THEM ;) ;) ;)

STEP 3:
Tell them something about you, and wait for them to reply so you can find some COMMON GROUND

STEP 4:
If you have nothing in common, walk away, research that topic and then find them the next day and SHOW OFF your skills and KNOWLEDGE in that particular areas

STEP 5:
Don't follow any of these steps !!! :D

Okay.. Now thats over... Time for the boring "KEEPING UP WITH THE GALACTICNOVA DUO"

Anyways.. So we had swimming trials before we went to camp, and a few days ago I found out that I am in Heat 1 of the Breastroke and Backstroke races (against 3 other girls, from different teams) and Heat 3 of the Freestyle race at Swimming Carnival. I am also in the 4x25m Medley Relay doing Backstroke and Freestyle relays for my year+team.
Wow
I will be busy on Friday!
Gee...

So in case you didn't get it, Swimming Carnival is on friday, so that means NO SCHOOL hehehehe... The teachers don't know this is me hehehe *blushes awkwardly*

Anyway so I have about 3141598265358979323 projects due on Wednesday, and I am aiming to do a maths test on Tuesday (did you get the maths reference in the number ;) ;))
So I will be BUSY af!

Got to go now, the real world is summoning me... I CANT HOLD IT OFF

How To Survive School ;) || SuperNova101

Hey guys!! No need to fear, Supernova's hereeeeeee! XD

School is really tough, especially in middle school or high school. It's really demanding, getting to your lessons on time, with the right books, managing homework, staying organised and still having time to relax. So today, I'm going to give you some tips on How To Stay On Top Of School.

Tip 1:
Name all your books/stationary clearly with your name, year level and subject.

Yeah, you might be thinking 'I already know this', but this really helps when you're getting books, and minimises the risk of getting mixed up between different folders and exercise books. It also helps if you lose anything, and people know who to give them back to! It also helps if you remember what colour folder/binder is for what subject so you can just grab it and go, without needing to look at the label!

Tip 2:
Get all your books ready for the next lessons at the start of the day, recess and lunch.

I know its stressful rushing down to recess with your friends, or running down to the canteen when there's fish and chips. I mean, who wants to hold up the squad, am I right? But it's really, really useful to spend the first five minutes of recess and lunch getting your books ready for the next lessons until your next break. This way, you don't need to run back and forth to your locker between lessons and you won't be late for class! Also, try to come at least 5-10 minutes earlier in the morning to get ready for the lessons before recess.

Tip 3:

Have a neat, organised locker at all times.

Okay, I have to admit my locker isn't exaaaactly 'neat' *cough cough* it's more like a place where useful things go on the top and non-important things stay in the bottom and never see the light of day again *cough cough*. But you know. I'm trying. A neat locker will always be easier to work with than a locker that looks like a tornado just swept through it. You can find your books sooo much easier and, well, it's aesthetically pleasing and your squad will be #jelly. It also helps to stick your timetable on the inside of your locker door so you can check it whenever.

Tip 4:

How to remember things that are important/your reminder list/your to do list.

I personally make to do lists/reminder lists(not very often but sometimes) but then I need another list to remember all my to do lists and another list to remember all the lists I have to remember my to-do lists, so on and forth. I know I'm not the only oneeeeee...I hope. Why hello Sam Smith reference. What you can do it put it somewhere you always look, everyday, no matter what. eg. Your mirror(admit it guys, you look at at least one every day), your locker, your laptop/device, etc. OR, here's a little weird thing that I do. If I need to remember something important the next day, like bring my PE uniform or something, I throw a pillow, a slipper or something you use every day to the other side of my room before I go to bed. That way, when I wake up, I see the pillow/slipper/object and think to myself, 'why the hell is that on the other side of the room?' And then I remember, 'Oh, I need to bring my PE uniform today.' See? It's foolproof.

Tip 5:

Get into your teacher's good books. And stay there.

Trust me. It will most definitely help you later on. Just a simple "Bye, Mrs/Mr/Ms _____" at the end of a lesson will get you lots of points. They'll let you off easier and won't pick on you in class.

HEY GUYS!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I have been FLAT OUT surviving camp, and school, and homework D:

So you might have read that SuperNova101 went on camp, and I did too!!! Except they split the year group up, SO WE WEREN'T TOGETHER :0

I know...
It was AWFUL ( ;) ;) SuperNova)
We got there and I was with NONE OF MY USUAL FRIENDS IN MY DORM :0 I was distraught..... But we ended up all becoming friends anyway.

What did we actually do on camp might you ask... Well... We 'snurfed' (Its a thing - just ask SuperNova!) and we snorkelled and we froze and we melted. We cooked nachos and weird taco bowl things (say whaaaaat????!!).

We also had frozen cereal mixed with nutrigrain for breakfast! (not frozen as in cold but frozen as in FROZEN THE FLIPPING MOVIE THEMED!) It was gross... We also had festy Peppa Pig yoghurt which tasted foul...
Ew...

Apart from that there was AN AWESOME BOUNCING JUMPING PILLOW although once when we went on it it was so hot it burnt our feet... Ouchie :'(

I also had to borrow $10 from my Grandma, because mum didn't have any money with her, and we got told we could have some for ice creams... BUT GUESS WHAT!!! Every FLIPPING TIME that I asked to get something.... THEY SAID NO! And then somehow a $5 note ripped in my pocket????!!!????

Hmm

Got to go now guys, homework time (yayyyyyyy)

Camp || SuperNova101

Hey guys! SuperNova survived camp! XD

Camping's usually not my thing. Sleeping in uncomfortable, scratchy bunk beds with stained sheets and pillows - *shudders* >.< Do you guys agree?

But I'm surprised to say that this camp wasn't too bad! We were in groups of about four to five in little villas (which are like small houses). They have a kitchen, a lounge, two small bedrooms, a bathroom, and overall it was quite a comfortable place to stay. Shame it was only one night!

Also, the teachers said we would "cook our own meals" but basically they just give you pre-cooked food and all we had to do was assemble it. I'm really annoyed though because THEY RAN OUT OF TACO SHELLS. What even. So our villa had to eat nachos instead. Which is still good but still. >:(

We went surfing, went on a walk through the "dunes" and promptly destroyed my shoes, socks and feet with sand and walking. But there was a playground with a massive jumping pillow. Yes, a JUMPING PILLOW. So that pro balances out all the cons because we all love jumping pillows. Am I right or am I right?

Anyway, it's 10:26 PM right now where I live, so SuperNova needs to catch some Zs before the enormous challenge of waking up in the morning comes around again. Tell me about your camp experiences down below in the comments and make sure to follow GalacticGirl and my blog! Thank you!

School Fun! || SuperNova101

Hey guys! SuperNova's in da house! Or internet. Whatever. XD

That moment when you go to school all excited for a new year and new lessons and find out you have talks about the year for the first week and a half and have a camp on Monday week 2. -_-'

Oh the joys of school.

We literally have to listen to the same talk about the same things with different teachers at least 5 times. And add to that horrendous pile some activities where you talk about your "emotions and feelings" on the first day. Most of my feelings were about breakfast. XD Haha comment below about your "emotions and feelings" were on your first day of school! (If you start at the beginning of the year, like logical people. I seriously don't understand why people start school in September in America. Maybe it's just me, haha. SOMEONE ENLIGHTEN ME!)

I am GalacticGirl005 and I hope to share some thoughts, advice, and general stuff with whoever reads this. If you ARE reading this, then you don't know how much I appreciate you reading it. As it is a new blog, I reckon I will only have maybe 5 views or comments by midyear? But, I don't care about who sees it; I care about my blog being there TO see, and I hope it will maybe inspire someone, somewhere.

I am from Australia

How old are you?
I won't say specifics, but I am between 12 and 16 years old. You can guess if you like, but I will not tell you when.

How often are you planning to blog?
I am planning to blog about once a week, maybe on a Wednesday or Saturday afternoon (my time), but if anything EXCITING happens then I may blog unexpectedly!!

What inspired you to start a blog?
I must say, Zoe Sugg's "Girl Online" book actually inspired me to start this blog. I know many bad things happen to Penny in the book, but her blog stays strong and I hope I can get this blog well-known too!
